This Special Issue is dedicated to the 5th World Congress of the International Laparoscopic Liver Society & The 3rd International Consensus Conference on Minimally Invasive Liver Resections (ILLS 2025), which aims to showcase the most outstanding research presented at this prestigious event, highlighting the latest advancements, innovations, and insights in laparoscopic liver surgery based on artificial intelligence-related technologies.
As the field of MILS continues to evolve, ILLS serves as a vital platform for global collaboration and the exchange of cutting-edge knowledge. The congress will engage participants in meaningful discussions through consensus meetings, capturing diverse perspectives that shape the present landscape of laparoscopic liver surgery.
This Special Issue seeks to highlight the key themes of the congress, sharing the latest advancements and significant findings from experts in the field of artificial intelligence in laparoscopic liver surgery. It aims to foster communication and collaboration within the scientific and academic communities.
The topics covered in this Special Issue include (but are not limited to) the following areas:
● Robotic-assisted liver surgery;
