Announcement: The Journal of Cardiovascular Aging Roberto Bolli, M.D. Award Established!
We are delighted to announce the establishment of “The Journal of Cardiovascular Aging Roberto Bolli, M.D. Award”. The award was made possible by a generous sponsorship of renowned webinar speaker Dr. Roberto Bolli. Short essays published between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024 will be eligible for the award, and Dr. Bolli will select the winner, who will be announced in March 2025.
Selection Criteria:
1. Essays should address one of the following topics:
a. General issues in science (e.g., impact of academic environment and policies on science; obstacles to scientific progress; issues related to biomedical publishing, grant review, peer-review in general; and current state of selected research fields such as cell-based therapies for heart disease);
b. History of science;
c. Intersection of science and art;
d. Intersection of science and culture;
e. Intersection of science and religion;
f. Intersection of science and society.
2. The evaluation will be based on the scope, quality, and quantity of views.
3. Word limit: 500 to 1000 words
4. References are not necessary, but the author(s) might include up to 5 references.
5. Manuscript type: Et cetera
Prizes:
First place: $400; Finalist: $300
An electronic certificate signed by Editor-in-Chief and Dr. Roberto Bolli;
An APC waiver for their next publication in the journal;
Extensive promotion of research achievements across all platforms of the Journal and OAE Publishing Inc.
