The Editors of The Journal of Cardiovascular Aging attended the 10th Annual Meeting of the North American Section of the IACS

The 10th Meeting of North American Section of the International Academy of Cardiovascular Sciences (IACS) was successfully held from September 7 to 9, 2023, in TAMPA, Florida, USA.

The theme of the conference was “Aging, Heart Failure, Regenerative and Cardiovascular Medicine”. This cardiovascular scientific meeting was comprised of 18 scientific Symposium and brought together the top cardiovascular scientists, clinical cardiologists, research fellows and trainees from all over the world.

Several Editorial Board members of The Journal of Cardiovascular Aging (JCA) attended the meeting. Dr. Naranjan S. Dhalla, the Senior Advisory Editor of the JCA, served as the Honorary Lifetime President of the meeting. Dr. Roberto Bolli, Associate Editor of the JCA, have a wonderful talk on cell therapy for heart failure, received the Presentation of IACS Award. Dr. Lorrie Kirshenbaum, the Consulting Editor of the JCA, received the Established Investigator Award. The Editor-in-Chief of the JCA, Dr. Ali J. Marian, IACS NAS Council, made a presentation at the meeting and received the attention and submission intention of many scholars.

Postdoc Dr. Manisha Deogharia and Dr. Priyatansh Gurha (the Consulting Editor of the JCA) won the Best Poster Award. Dr. Leila Rouhi, the Academic Assistant Editor of the JCA, was a finalist at the Early Stage Career Investigator Award. Congratulations!

The JCA is committed to building a premier, most desirable, and entirely transparent international platform for the dissemination of state-of-the-art basic, translational, and clinical studies in aging and cardiovascular disease.
