Two Editorial Board Members of JCA Featured in the List of "Highly Cited Chinese Researchers 2021" Announce by Elsevier

Two Editorial Board members of The Journal of Cardiovascular Aging (JCA), Dr. Dao Wen Wang and Dr. Jun Ren, are featured in the list of "Highly Cited Chinese Researchers 2021" released by Elsevier on 14 April 2022. Hereon, the Editorial Office of JCA extends our hearty congratulations to them.

The lists of "Highly Cited Chinese Researchers" have been jointly released by Elsevier and Shanghai Ranking Consultancy since 2015 based on Scopus. The list of 2021 covers 4,701 scholars of 84 disciplines from 523 institutions. The listed Scholars are expected to publish at least one paper that ranks in the top 1% by citations worldwide, or to be the first/corresponding author of the paper with Field-Weighted Citation Impact (FWCI) over 1.


Dao Wen Wang, PhD

Dr. Dao Wen Wang, the Consulting Editor of JCA. Dr. Wang is a director and professor at Tongji Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhan, China. His research interests are molecular cardiology, translational medicine, molecular biology, and cardiovascular internal medicine.


Jun Ren, MD, PhD

Dr. Jun Ren, the Editorial Board member of JCA. He is a professor at Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University in Shanghai, China, and the Affiliate Associate Professor at Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology of the University of Washington. His research interests are cardiac pathophysiology in alcoholism, diabetes, obesity, and aging.
