The 3rd Editorial Board Meeting of Artificial Intelligence Surgery Successfully Held

On March 22nd, 2023, the 3rd Editorial Board meeting of Artificial Intelligence Surgery (AIS) was successfully held online. Thirty Editorial Board members (EB members) with strong academic backgrounds were in attendance.

Firstly, Prof. Andrew A. Gumbs, the Editor-in-Chief, summarized the journal's achievements in 2022 and expressed his gratitude to all the EB members. Then, in the free discussion, Prof. Gumbs presented the future development strategies of the journal, including Special Issues, publications, webinars, and awards. Most of the EB members put forward constructive suggestions for attracting submissions and enhancing academic influence.

On behalf of the Editorial Office, we would like to express our deep gratitude to all respected EB members. Your invaluable insights and opinions have played a vital role in advancing academic excellence and innovation within our journal. Under the professional guidance of the Editor-in-Chief and the continuous support of the EB members, AIS is poised to achieve new heights in 2023.
