Dr. Yaohui Tang received his Ph.D. degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2014. After graduation, he worked as a postdoc at Max-Planck-Institute for biological cybernetics in Germany and Stanford University in U.S. In 2018 he was recruited as a tenure track assistant professor in School of Biomedical Engineering, Med-X Research Institute, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Dr. Tang has a broad interest in stem cell, exosome, and gene based therapy for ischemic stroke and tissue engineering. His work has been published on Stroke, JCBFM, AFM, etc, with more than 1700 citations and H-index as 21.
